Start by saying: try the joint. I thought it was good. I don't know, maybe I'm jaded, but I thought it was above average. If we scale this out, we have: Bread Pickles Chicken Fries Sauce Service speed Price So, the bread and fries are C students. Let's be real and C isn't a bad thing! The bread is good. It's like if Orowheat white bread slices were doubled in size, more flavor and toasted. Enjoyed the toasted slices. The fries are what brings it down to a C. It's standard, bought crinkles with the seasoning. That's it. Uneven seasoning, I'm not mad at it, I'm just saying the facts. Pickles are standard fair, dill, comp to the most expensive pickle at Walmart. Service speed and price, on point. Price was mid teens, that's standard nowadays. 5min wait and the place was jumpin. It seemed they cycled people in and out fast. The order taking guy was nice too, talked me through my options. Final portion: chicken. The chicken is good, man. Great seasoning, solid portion size. The sauce is good too. Really enjoyed the chicken and overall dish. So I asked for Hot, the guy said aye maybe, maybe not. I got the hot though. I'll say if sriracha is basically ketchup to you in terms of spice, hot is perfect. If you're worried about how much chili flake you put on your pizza, do not get hot. Im going back and getting extra hot. It's worth a stop if you haven't tried, especially if it's late at night.

My roommate has been raving about this place and decided to try it last night! The food and the service were great! Originally I thought Chikin Drip was a stand-in restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was a food truck. Loved how the lights was connected to the food truck gave it a warm, comforting late night family vibe. I got the #2 combo which came with 2 mild Chicken Tenders, fries and two pieces of white bread! I loved the flavor of the flavor and the spice level of the tenders I got. It was a little spicy but not too spicy! The secret sauce was a great pairing with the chicken, I had to go back to the truck and ask for more! Loved the seasoning of fries; it tasted like Cajun seasoning was added to it. The fact that all of the food is halal is a plus!! There was so much food provided, my roommate and I split it and we both were full after 1 tender, some fries and a piece of bread. I will definitely be visiting this food truck in the future!

Not much to say regarding "ambiance" or "service"... Food trucks do hit different from a restaurant though. And I am going to say that even though this specific food truck is in semi shady spot (not really, just very industrious area), the food is bomb. I'm not going to lie, I wouldn't necessarily spend $41 on a 2 meals of 4 to 5 chicken tenders, but it just makes sense for this place. Granted idk how many chicken tenders were utilized for my #3 combo when the girl up sold it to me, but I know my BF was happy when he found he had two more in his order. They do pack their food. There's ample to even amount of the fries to chicken tender ratio for both me and my boyfriends order. Their "secret sauce" is perfect too. Man, I genuinely don't know what else to say besides that I really liked the balance. Only comment is that, please make some chickie tendies, esssstraaaaaaaaaa (extra) crispy, crunchy, nom noms. Lol.

Stopped by with a friend on a Saturday evening. Luckily there was no line! They accept cash or Venmo. The food truck is in a small parking lot and has some tables for outdoor seating. I ordered a combo #1 which came with fries, one slider, one chicken tender on a slice of bread, and sauce. I noticed other hot chicken places usually give a plain piece of white bread, but this spot had a more toasted bread with more flavor than just plain white (possibly brioche?). Overall the slider and fries were delish! We both preferred the slider over the chicken tender though. Fries were crispy on outside and soft on the inside. Everything tasted good - giving 4 stars as it wasn't mind-blowing but it definitely did a good job in satisfying the hot chicken sandwich craving!

Nashville style chicken? Sign this southern boy up! Solid 4 stars. The seasoning and flavors are on point. Chikin Drip serves delicious halal chicken out of a food truck north of downtown San Jose off Old Bayshore Road in a parking lot of a business complex. Chill vibes. My SO and I were craving some fried chicken/Nashville style so found this place. We've tried another competitor in the area, which fell short of our palettes' expectations. The ordering process was smooth and wait time was about 15-20 minutes. This was on a Friday night around 8PM. FOOD *Tenders: comes with 2 tenders (I ordered medium spice which wasn't really spicy), fries, and slaw over two white toast slightly toasted. *Chicken Sandwich/Slider: My SO ordered no spice but I appreciate the heavy seasoning to make it more tasty. Makes a difference in taste! It comes with fries and slaw too. Entrees come with a "secret" sauce. It tasted almost like a mix of thousand island and mayo. Creamy. It paired well with the fries. It sorta reminded me of Zaxby's sauce (fried chicken fastfood chain in the South). My suggestions are based on what I'm use to eating back home in GA and my travels to neighboring southern states. There should be an option for buttered toasts - makes a huge difference. I'm use to the chicken being in a marinade before the batter is added and fried. It adds much more flavor and depth. I believe the chicken here is more of a dry rub, hence the heavy seasoning/spices on the breading. Also, the pickles were not as vinegary to my liking; it needs the acidic kick. Other than that, we still enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend if you're craving some fried tenders/chicken sandwich/Nashville style chicken!

I have NEVER been disappointed by this place. For $15, you get a slider, tender, fries, toast, and their special sauce. The chicken is simply unbeatable - crispy, yet juicy at the same time. You don't know what you're missing out on till you try it! Hot take: probably the BEST fried chicken sandwiches in the South Bay AND they know how to do spice... trust me Usually takes about 10-15mins for food to come out. It is located in a parking lot, so there's a good amt of parking. Groups usually come in and out too so it's not too bad.

Tenders, sandwiches and fries basket, Chikin Drip has a simple menu of just 3 classic items of chicken and fries. I love how flavorful the seasoning of the chicken is. The medium seasoning was slightly spicy and contrasted well with the pickles and coleslaw. The secret sauce was so addictive and went perfect with the tenders and fries. On the other hand, the hot level was super spicy for me, a huge step up from medium. Apparently they use some ghost peppers in hot and above, so try it at your own risk! Overall, the tenders are huge, like 2 big pieces of chicken breasts which is really value for money. Plenty of parking and 3 tables are set up beside the food truck for customers.

Delicious! If you've tried the popular Dave's hot chicken, you'll know that Chikin Drip is essentially the same/similar I got combo #1: I was uncertain whether or not this combo came with both a slider and a tender, so i ordered an extra tender. I guess it did come with a tender already since I ended up with two tenders. I ordered hot and it was pretty spicy. I have good tolerance but the spice definitely got to me. Would order medium hot or medium next time. Also, they didn't allow me to choose two different spice levels for my slider and my tenders, which was upsetting. Overall, the chicken was flavorful and crispy on the outside, and somewhat moist inside (could be more tender/juicy). Fries were good, crispy outside fluffy inside. Friend got combo #3 w/no pickles: This is basically a deconstructed chicken slider over fries. Really tasty and worth giving a try.
